Cheer 2024/25 Schedule 

Cheer Season

Team Meeting & Practice: Sunday, July 28th

UCA Camp: Monday, July 29th - Thursday, August 1st

Preseason: Monday, August 12th & Tuesday, August 13th

Regular Season Practice: Begins Monday, August 19th

Attendance at camp and regular season practices is mandatory.

• Cheer Camp: 
  • July 28th - SMCS 2-4pm 
  • July 29th - August 1st - UCA Cheer Camp - Texas A&M
• Preseason: 
  • August 12th-13th
• Cheer Regular Season
  • Location: SMCS Gym/Tiger Gym
  • Attendance is mandatory 
  • Practices are held before school from 6:30am-7:30am
• Medical Forms
  • Must be turned in to the Nurse prior to the start of participation in any camp or team activity for the 2024/25 school year.
  • Medical Forms Required by the Catholic Schools Office can be found HERE. 

• Cheer tryouts and selection takes place during the spring for the upcoming school year.
  • SMCS Cheer squad is comprised of rising 7th & 8th grade girls.
• Cheer is a year round sport. 
  • Fall season is the primary season and Cheerleaders MAY participate in any other fall sport. 
  • Cheerleaders may participate in winter and spring sports in addition to cheer. 
    • Cheerleaders will participate in Pep Rally's and other school events throughout the year.
