St. Michael Catholic School announces the auditions for Beauty and the Beast this Thursday in the school auditorium for students in 4-8 grades. There will be callbacks on Thursday, January 8 at 3:15 - 5:00 in the music room. To prepare for auditions please note the following:
Students should review the cast of characters by going to www.broadwayjr.com. Click on the red "BroadwayJr" sign, click on "Audition Central," then "Beauty and the Beast."
In addition to the dialogue, students will be required to perform a vocal audition. Students should be prepared to sing a song of their choice FROM BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. You can find lyrics at the following website: http://www.fpx.de/fp/Disney/Lyrics/BeautyAndTheBeast.html. There will be a pianist present if students wish to have accompaniment.
Sr. Martina will be coordinating the auditions on Wednesday, January 7, for all those students who wish to audition for "Beauty and the Beast." The auditions will be closed and only the audition panel will be present.
Please bring your child to the audition at his/her assigned time and be prepared to wait for your child. Eighth graders will audition first, fourth graders last. Each audition should last approximately five minutes.
